Why is Booth College the ideal place for you to continue your learning journey?
A College for all Nations
Booth College is a college for all people—from many nations, many Christian traditions, and many backgrounds. We aim to be inclusive and diverse. We will support students for whom English is not their first language. We believe in women in ministry, and will equip women for leadership.
We integrate real life practical experience with your formal qualification to equip you with knowledge and skills for lifelong learning. By giving our students opportunity to do practical ministry and service in a variety of settings, we generate opportunities to put theory into practice and make it relevant. Furthermore, real-world learning prepares you for further education, for careers, for ministry, and for community involvement.
Studying online at Booth College will be a personal learning experience. You will be in control of when and where you study while we work with you to ensure that you graduate successfully. No one size fits all, so depending on your chosen field of study, you may be encouraged to partake in regular online tutorials and sit online quizzes to help keep you on track. While some courses provide local facilitation sessions which means that you can have the additional benefit of increased accountability, practical learning and discussion opportunities, classroom friendships and personal interaction with your course facilitator and classmates. All our degree programs and most of our vocational courses are delivered online.

Booth College’s theological and its broader education approach is rooted in Wesleyan theology and heritage. Our theology is founded on the Bible and is based on the doctrine of salvation and the relationship between grace, faith, and holiness of heart and life, a Wesleyan focus. In short, we are about inviting people to experience God’s grace and to grow in their knowledge and love of God by living a life that puts faith and love into action.
This Wesleyan perspective extends into our integrated learning approach by entwining the three components - scholarship learning that stimulates the mind, developing character that demonstrates the fruit of the Spirit, and social action practising courageous justice and compassion – all critical to the development of the whole person.
So if you are looking for your life's work, let it find you at Booth College.
