Audit Student

You can also study one or more units as an audit student. This will give you an opportunity to try studying online or for the purposes of self-enrichment or exploration. This option means that you can benefit from your studies without needing to complete any assignments.

Non Award Student

You can also study one or more units as a non award student where you will complete the tasks and assignments and study towards credit. This means that if you decide to take your study further and enrol in a full degree program, your study could count towards your degree.

Foundational Units

Not sure where to start? Consider taking a foundational unit which will introduce you to a topic as well as start building an award. See the details for each foundational unit we offer via the Foundational Units page.

Learning for Life and Ministry Unit

Studying after a long break or engaging in a new field of study like Divinity/Theology can be challenging. EBC wants every student to succeed and flourish in their studies. So, following consultation with students and faculty concerning how to best support new students, EBC has established a Learning for Life and Ministry unit.

Learning for Life and Ministry will help you to cultivate valuable skills that you can apply to your learning at university, life, and ministry. This unit will equip you with skills to navigate online study. It will also help you to grow as a reflective learner, to think and write critically, and provide strategies to manage the competing pressures of life and ministry.

You will be able to select this unit as part of your award or take it as a single subject option.

Census Dates Information

Every unit is assigned a census date. The census date is the final day on which students can withdraw from a unit and receive a refund of tuition fees, and have the unit removed from their academic transcripts. Students who withdraw from a unit after the census date for that unit will not receive a refund of fees and will have the unit recorded on their academic transcript. Please check with the Registrar for the census dates of intensive units.
