Captain Stuart Glover has been a Salvation Army officer for nine years and has prime appointment as Social Liaison Officer for the Queensland Division. Prior to this Divisional appointment, Stuart had pastoral appointments in Queensland and New South Wales. As a disciple of Jesus and he is passionate about understanding what contemporary discipleship looks like. Like a true disciple, he loves food—especially when sharing it with others.
Stuart loves the story of rescue and freedom found in the Christian scriptures and has dedicated his life to telling this story, which gives rise to his passion for biblical studies. While interested in further research and study a key focus for his teaching is to see people equipped with the tools to engage with scripture.
