Adjunct Lecturer

BSc(Biomedical Science), MDiv, DMin–Preaching and Leadership (Asbury Theological Seminary, Kentucky)

Laithe Greenaway has been a Salvation Army officer for 19 years and is currently serving as a Corps Officer of the Bundamba Corps, QLD.  Laithe has been involved in the one-on-one coaching of preaching and teaching of preaching since 2013.  With a passion for theology, Laithe wrote a research paper entitled: Divine Humility and its Implications for Prayer.  This paper addressed the question of how the concept of Divine Humility might inform the paradox of a Sovereign God who nonetheless invites human participation through prayer.  In 2016, Laithe was awarded a Beeson International Scholarship into the Preaching and Leadership Doctor of Ministry program at Asbury Theological Seminary.  At the completion of his DMin, Laithe published a dissertation entitled: “We have a Gospel: A critique of salvation narratives in The Salvation Army in Australia”.
