Peter Farthing wrote and co-produced the award-winning documentary, Our People: The Story of William and Catherine Booth and The Salvation Army. He has been executive producer for two shorter documentaries. And he has produced three filmed teaching series.

Peter teaches preaching and spiritual formation. He studied preaching under Dr Haddon Robinson at Denver Seminary, and has taught on that artful theme in six nations. As a preacher himself he has led Salvation Army corps (churches) and travelled widely speaking at churches and conferences.

Peter has taught extensively in pastoral counselling. He has served on the faculty of the Brengle Institute for holiness. For several years he lectured at The Salvation Army’s International College for Officers. 

With 38 years of experience in ministry, Peter, together with his wife Kerrie, has led five corps (churches). He has developed a professional counselling service, edited an international magazine, done executive-level work with personnel for The Salvation Army, and presently leads Booth College.
